Engineered Quartz
Engineered quartz offers the feel of natural stone with the performance and design versatility of an engineered product. Quartz is resistant to stains and scratches, making it an ideal choice for countertops and other surfaces.
Engineered quartz is a type of man-made material used in various applications, primarily as a countertop material for kitchens and bathrooms. It is composed of approximately 90-95% crushed natural quartz crystals mixed with resins, polymers and pigments. The resulting material is durable, non-porous, and has a consistent appearance. Low Maintenance
Engineered quartz is resistant to staining, scratching and etching. Engineered quartz is easily maintained by using a soft cloth with soap and warm water to clean daily.
Consistency
Engineered quartz is man-made which provides a consistent color and pattern based on the slab selected. Engineered quartz manufacturers can produce thousands of slabs with minor differences.
Non-porous
Engineered quartz is made of natural quartz and resins. The resins used act as a sealant, they make a waterproof surface. Therefore, quartz does not need to be sealed.
