Rosa Mosaic & Tile Company (“Rosa Mosaic”) was founded in 1937 by cousins, Romano and Louis Rosa. In 1949, John Cristofoli, emigrated with his family from Tauriano, Italy.  He was offered an ownership stake in 1968 with Rosa Mosaic and eventually bought the company in 1981.  

Under John’s leadership, Rosa Mosaic became the preeminent commercial contractor in the region for terrazzo, stone, and tile.  John also proved to be quite an effective recruiter and persuaded three of his children, Anna, Louis, and John, to join the company.   

The combination of Anna’s business acumen and the hands-on field expertise of Louis and John has been an undisputed formula for success. The company has expanded to now offer a full suite of services and products under one roof with Rosa Mosaic. The company is proud of its rich heritage, realizing that the group’s success is a result of their talented team members.
