Stone Technical Information
Stone is a natural product that requires special maintenance consideration; however, simple care will keep your stone long lasting and looking like new if it is executed properly. Dust the stone frequently to prevent buildup of unnatural items, and make sure to blot dry the surface of the stone immediately after spills. Once this is complete you will want to clean the surface of the stone with a cleaner or soap, making sure to use just the right amount of cleaner because applying too much can result in a thin film residue on the surface of the stone that can cause deterioration over time. Another important step, along with everyday cleaning, is making sure you seal the stone every 6 months or year.
